To All who come this way.
If you cannot hear
The voices of your ancestors;
If you cannot feel to know your own heart;
To feel the earth beneath your feet;
To take a breath of fresh clean air;
A drink of clean, clear water;
Then what have you done?
Enter the lodges and
Sweat this poison out.
Talk to the Elders.
Teach your children.
There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.
We are a proud People.
Stand in the light of your grandfathers and
Let them smile on their children.
The time has come for us to dance
As One Nation...
Unified as One Nation.
It is time for those
Who have taken us lightly
To hear and feel our Thunder.
The time has come
To light the council pipes.

GENEVA/U.N. UPDATE:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the members and representatives of the Western Shoshone Nation for their grand efforts in Geneva during the past few weeks.
Their presentation of the many issues concerning the relationship between the Western Shoshone Nation and the United States to the U.N. Council has produced the long overdue attention, much needed response and affirmative action from the U.N. that we have desired for this phase of protecting our ancestral lands and our rights as designated by the 1863 Ruby Valley Treaty.
The battle has been a long one, none-the-less, it is not over just yet. We still have a long way to go. Now, more than ever, it is absolutely necessary that all the Shoshone people unite and stand together in order to move forward to accomplishing more great things for our Nation. Let us set an example for others to follow and open the lines of communication throughout our lands to insure that we stand with continued success, strength and dignity.
We invite all the Nations to join us in traditional prayer for this great gift.
